Event dessert goes wrong in two ways: not enough, or five kinds of one thing. Both are fixable with ten minutes of planning.
The quantity math
- Cookies as the only dessert: 3 per guest.
- Cookies alongside cake or other desserts: 1.5 per guest, rounded up.
- Grab-and-go table at an office event: 2 per attendee — people take a second one on the way out.
- Baby or bridal shower: 2 per guest, plus a small box for the guest of honor to take home.
Choosing the flavor spread
Three flavors is the sweet spot. Beyond that, guests hesitate; below it, someone is disappointed. A dependable combination:
- One familiar: Classic Chocolate Chip.
- One rich: Red Velvet or Toffee.
- One conversation piece: Churro Cookie or Cookies & Cream.
When to order
We bake in small batches rather than holding stock, so event orders should go in ahead of the date rather than same-day. That way the batch is scheduled around your event and the flavors you picked are actually the ones you get.

Keep boxes sealed and indoors until 20 minutes before serving — especially in Arizona summer. If you have oven access, warm trays in small waves rather than all at once, so the last guests get a warm cookie too. Storage details are in our guide to keeping cookies fresh.
